Communication style plays a crucial role in managing the multigenerational ecosystem of present world. This study examined communication Gen Y and Z. The participants were 311 youth (Gen Y, 68; Z, 243). questionnaire on was developed based Hartman McCambridge (2011). online survey conducted from 6 April 2020 to 11 May by distributing link people who Z age groups. results showed that both groups similar their general characteristics, which included preferences for group-work, affirmation, clear rules, opinions be valued. They liked face-to-face communication, using visuals communication. There significant differences some work habits, is, are better than at analysing information obtained Internet, handling lot one time, whereas expected more instantaneous feedback Y. As style, they amiable communicators low assertiveness, prioritised relationship over task completion, had slow-paced style. style-typing ability, whereby compared with peers. Their demographic background (gender, ethnic group, socio-economic status) did not influence indicating generational cohort. suggests employers require goal-oriented need make expectations employees.
